- A consultant to Pharmaceutical Companies and Research Organisations, focusing on Research and Development, Dr Prosdocimi has collaborated with many Pharmaceutical Companies, large established organisations and newly founded organisations, including academic spin-offs
- Prior to this he rose to Research and Development Director at Fidia Research Laboratories during a 15-year career (1981-1996) with the company
- Academic researcher from 1973 to 1981, working at the Department of Pharmacology, Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia and at the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Padua
- Member of several Scientific Societies and author of more than 120 papers, 200 abstracts and several patents, mostly on cardiovascular and autonomic pharmacology, both at preclinical and clinical level
- Member of the Technical Scientific Committee of several National Research Plans and of the national list of experts in charge of the evaluation of research programs submitted for grants
- Organizer of several Scientific Meetings in the field of Pharmacology, Autonomic Nervous System and Cardiovascular Research
